The Bizz Johnson Trail
The Bizz Johnson trails winds through an abandoned rail bed 25.4 miles between the Historic Railroad depot in Susanville to Mason Station near Westwood. The untouched beauty of the trail makes it a world class destination for hikers, bikers and folks looking for an amazing walk through nature.
Eagle Lake
Just half an hour from our Susanville RV Park lies Eagle Lake.
The largest lake in California has plenty of shoreline and features fishing, boat launch facilities and sandy beaches for swimming.
Roop's Fort
Take a step back into history at Roop's Fort in Susanville.
Originally built by Isaac Roop as a trading post in 1854 this cabin was the scene of the Sage Brush War in the 1860's. Next door to the Fort is the Susanville Museum, open year round.

Historic Railroad Depot and Visitor's Center
The historic Susanville Railroad Depot was built by Southern Pacific Railroad in 1927 and is now a historical landmark. The depot lies at the beginning of the Bizz Johnson Trail. At the depot, visitors can step back in history by viewing historic photographs of the railroad and logging trains which rolled through Susanville.
